ALEXANDRIA BAY, NY —Â On June 7, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., State Police in Alexandria Bay responded to 39175 Creek Road in the town of Alexandria for a report of a male that was trapped under a mowing implement connected to a tractor he was operating.
The victim, identified as 76-year-old Robert J. Pagel appeared to have been ejected and became entrapped and dragged by the moving tractor.
Mr. Pagel was transported to Jefferson County Morgue pending an autopsy. No signs of foul play or suspicious activity.
State Police were assisted at the scene by Alexandria Bay Fire Department.
