WATERTOWN, NY — State Police arrested Christopher P. LaClair, 43, Philadelphia, NY for Criminal Impersonation of a Police Officer, a class “E” felony.
On Oct. 15, 2020, at approximately 5:18 p.m., Christopher LaClair was traveling east on Interstate 781 when he attempted to stop another vehicle, by displaying his fire department badge out the window of his vehicle, that he believed was driving erratically, troopers said.
Troopers responded to the area of I-781 and State Route 11 after both drivers stopped and contacted 911 to report the incident.
Mr. LaClair was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in LeRay Town Court.
