NYSP: Watertown man accused of sexually abusing child

WATERTOWN, NY —  On October 12, 2022, State Police arrested Jeremy F. Snyder, 37, of Watertown, NY, for the following charges:

  • (4) counts of Criminal Sex Act first-degree – subsection 4 (B-felony)

  • (2) counts of Criminal Sex Act first-degree subsection 1 (B-felony)

  • (1) count of Sex Abuse first-degree – subsection 1 (D-felony)

  • (1) count of Sex Abuse first-degree – sub-section 4 (D-felony).

Snyder is charged with having forcible sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13 on multiple occasions. He was arraigned in the Lewis County CAP Court and was remanded to the Lewis County Jail on no bail.

State Police were assisted in this investigation by NYS Parole and the Jefferson County Child Protective Services.
