OSWEGO, NY — The Oswego Sheriff’s Office released the following arrest information on June 26, 2018:
On 6/20/18 at 2:19 a.m., Michael M. Hammond, 37, of 164 Durbin Rd., Hannibal, NY was charged with AUO, third-degree and Speeding following a traffic stop on SR 176 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Hammond is scheduled to answer the charges on 7/2/18 in the Town of Granby Court.
On 6/22/18 at 11:45 a.m., a 16-year-old female residing in the City of Fulton was charged with Rape, first-degree, a class B felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred during the summer months of 2017 where she allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than seventeen years of age while at a Town of Hastings residence. The female and her parent were instructed to contact the Oswego County Probation Department.
On 6/22/18 at 1:12 p.m., Victoria L. Hyde, 18, of 10 Crescent Lane, Fulton, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following an incident at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Ms. Hyde is scheduled to answer the charge on 7/23/18 in the Town of Granby Court.
On 6/22/18 at 2:50 p.m., Donald J. Tucker Jr., 65, of 942 CR 35, Mexico, NY was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Speeding following a traffic stop on SR 3 in the Town of Palermo. Mr. Tucker is scheduled to answer the charges on 7/9/18 in the Town of Palermo Court.
On 6/22/18 at 3:00 p.m., Stephanie Marie Trumble, 39, of 2520 CR 22, Altmar, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Town of New Haven Court. Ms. Trumble was released after paying the fines.
On 6/22/18 at 8:12 p.m., Nicholas D. Faes, 32, of 13 Golf Line Rd., Liverpool, NY was arrested for Criminal Mischief, second-degree, a class D felony and Menacing, third-degree, a class B misdemeanor following the investigation into a domestic dispute in the Town of Schroeppel where he allegedly damaged the victim’s vehicle. Mr. Faes was arraigned in the Town of Palermo Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond with a return to Town of Schroeppel Court on 6/27/18.
On 6/23/18 at 3:06 a.m., Jeremy M. Rupert, 41, of 1961 CR 1, Oswego, NY was operating a 2007 Pontiac north on CR 6 in the Town of Volney, ½ mile north of CR 45, when he reportedly lost control after reacting to deer entering the roadway, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a ditch and tree. Mr. Rupert was issued UTT’s for Failure to Keep Right; Driving Across Hazard Markings and Speeding.
On 6/23/18 at 9:26 a.m., Niko B. Uman, 23, of 626 Black Mountain Rd., Brattleboro, VT was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana following a traffic stop on CR 4 in the Town of Scriba. Mr. Uman is scheduled to answer the charge on 7/12/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.
On 6/23/18 at 1:12 p.m., Carl A. Ward, 23, of 30 Woodland Dr., Lot 30, Fulton, NY was arrested for 2 counts of Burglary, third-degree, a class D felony and 2 counts of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into two separate incidents at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Mr. Ward was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond with a return to court on 6/25/18.
On 6/23/18 at 10:13 p.m., Jeremy F. Symborski, 27, of 819 Middle Rd., Oswego, NY was operating a 1999 BMW north on CR 53 in the Town of Scriba, ½ mile north of Dutch Ridge Rd., when he reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a mailbox then an earth embankment. Mr. Symborski was issued a UTT for Speeding. He was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital.
On 6/24/18 at 9:44 p.m., Shiann M. Herrington, 18, of 2921 SR 11, Parish, NY was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a MV, third-degree, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Mexico. Ms. Herrington is scheduled to answer the charge on 7/3/18 in the Town of Mexico Court.
