Oswego Sheriff’s blotter May 3

On 4/24/18 at 4:03 p.m., James A. Benehaley, 18, of 52 Phillips Rd., Oswego, NY and a 17-year-old female residing in the Town of Oswego were charged with Petit Larceny following an incident at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart.  Mr. Benehaley and the female are scheduled to answer the charge on 5/7/18 in the Town of Granby Court.

On 4/30/18 at 5:46 p.m., Craig E. Bennett, 43, of 5871 Rita Lane, Cicero, NY was operating a 2015 Honda east on SR 104 in the Town of Albion, 4/10 mile west of Searles Rd., when he reportedly lost control in reaction to a horse and buggy on the roadway causing the vehicle to exit and strike two mailboxes before a utility pole.  Mr. Bennett was issued a UTT for Uninspected MV.

On 5/1/18 at 12:55 p.m., Crystal L. Moody, 29, of 38 Parkhurst Rd., Oswego, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor following a domestic dispute in the Town of Scriba.  Ms. Moody is scheduled to answer the charge on 5/10/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.

On 5/1/18 at 4:26 p.m., Nathan Douglas Caley, 18, of 1332 SR 104A, Sterling, NY was operating a 2006 Hyundai northeast on SR 104 in the Town of Oswego approaching the intersection with Jackim Rd. when the vehicle reportedly rear ended a 2004 Ford being operated by Casey Oliver Wilcox, 21, of 60 Tulls Corners Rd., Candor, NY.  Mr. Caley was issued a UTT for Following Too Closely.

On 5/1/18 at 9:16 p.m., Kenneth G. Beaulieu, 61, of 681 CR 54, Lot 79, Pennellville, NY was operating a 2000 Chevrolet pickup west on SR 49 in the Town of Palermo approaching the intersection with SR 264 when he reportedly put the vehicle in reverse causing it to collide with a 2000 Nissan being operated by Gary L. Leroux, 57, of 3774 SR 3, Fulton, NY.  Mr. Beaulieu was issued UTT’s for Uninspected MV; Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Moving from Lane Unsafely.

On 5/2/18 at 11:18 p.m., Karolyn C. Kimball, 26, of 2 Maple Ave. Ext., Pulaski, NY was arrested for DWI; Operating MV with BAC .08 of 1%; No License and AUO, 3rd degree following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Mexico initiated after the vehicle she was operating was observed to be dragging a trash can.  Ms. Kimball is scheduled to answer the charges on 5/22/18 in the Town of Mexico Court.
