WATERTOWN, NY —  The Watertown Downtown Business Association (DBA) will host the annual Black River Fall Fest from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, on Public Square in downtown Watertown. This event, which will feature over 30 vendors, is expected to draw thousands of people into downtown and is a marquee event that will showcase all that Public Square has to offer.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the event, the City of Watertown will close all travel lanes on the north side of Public Square to vehicular traffic, including all the angled parking spaces.

To facilitate this street closing, there will be no overnight parking in the angled spaces on the north side of Public Square on Friday, September 6, 2019. These spaces will remain available to patrons of downtown businesses throughout Friday evening. However, all spaces must be vacated no later than 3:00 a.m.

The City will place temporary barricades, traffic cones and signage, and will establish a detour route for the event. Parking will continue to be available on the south side of Public Square and at the many City parking lots in the downtown area.
