EVANS MILLS, NY — Pauline Davis, 86, of Schell Avenue, Evans Mills, a longtime resident of Theresa, NY, passed away, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019.
Born Aug. 15, 1933, to Remington L. and Ethel R. Steacy Davis and she attended Theresa schools.
She married Allen Davis in 1950 and the couple operated a farm on the Oxbow Road, Theresa, NY.
For 25 years, Pauline worked for Crowley Foods, LaFargeville, NY.
She loved bingo, game shows, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
Pauline lived at Northview Apartments with her cat, Butter and her two daughters, Patty Bell and Arlene Hopkins, living next door. She is also survived by, daughter and son-in-law, Blanche and Brian Taylor, Theresa, NY, daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Frank Holder, Copenhagen, NY, son, Allen Davis, Crystal Lake, Sackets Harbor, NY, daughter, Lucille Davis, Warner Robins, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Liz Davis, Adams, NY; 26 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Davis, Lake City, FL, and George and Vicki Davis, Theresa, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Chris Kane, Canada; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, three brothers, Malcolm, Raymond and Paul Davis and a grandson, Kevin Davis, all died previously.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
