WATERTOWN, NY — The funeral service for Phileena M. Romeo will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey E. Smith officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Phileena passed away Saturday, Nov. 9. She was 34 years old.
Born April 9, 1985, in Watertown, a daughter of Wendy McAtee, she was educated in the Watertown City School District and graduated in 2003.
Phileena worked at several local restaurants, most recently IHOP.
Phileena enjoyed her family, running, and yoga. She was also a regular attendant of Mercy Point Church, Watertown.
Besides her mother, Wendy Gardner, she is survived by her children, Christian McAtee, Hayden McAtee, Carleigh McAtee, Lianna McAtee; her uncle, Tim (Deb) McAtee of Watertown; her aunts, Heather (Dave) Markson of New Hampshire, Shari (Jim) Caruso of New Jersey; her grandparents, Bill and Carol Denne of Florida; and several cousins.
Phileena was predeceased by a brother, Morgan McAtee.
