WATERTOWN, NY —Â City police and firefighters responded at 3:05 a.m. Thursday to a report of a sheared utility pole with a downed power line causing a power outage in the area of the 100 block of Haley Street near Myrtle Avenue.
Initial reports suggested two occupants fled on foot after crashing into a utility pole and a parked vehicle.
National Grid, Crossman’s Towing and Precision Towing were called to the scene to assist police and firefighters.
The incident remains under investigation.
