HOUNSFIELD — Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an accident involving an overturned Town of Hounsfield plow truck at about 4 a.m. Tuesday on Jericho Road between Route 3 and Evans Road.
Two people were transported by Guilfoyle Ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center.
Responding patrols were advised to drive 5 mph on the road due to it being covered in ice.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by state police, Guilfoyle Ambulance, Sackets Harbor Fire Department and Derrigo’s Towing.
Further details have not been released.
Patrols and Sackets Harbor firefighters were also dispatched at 4:47 a.m. Tuesday to a report of vehicle crashing into a tree on Old Rome Road.
