Watertown Police Department:
Jared S. Wells, 49, of 261 Ten Eyck St., Apt. 4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at his residence with third-degree assault. Mr. Wells is accused of punching Cortney J. Salisbury-Corey, 33, Watertown, in her face causing a laceration to her nose at about 10:25 a.m. Saturday at 261 Ten Eyck St., according to court documents. He was being held pending arraignment Saturday afternoon in City Court.
Thomas H. Tibbles Jr., 24, of 420 W. Mullin St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:49 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the 100 block of Willow Street with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child. Mr. Tibbles is accused of applying pressure to the throat of a 7-year-old boy and pushing the child against a wall at about 12:26 p.m. Saturday at 420 W. Mullin St., according to court documents. “The defendant further pushed the child to the ground when he tried to walk away,” police wrote. He was being held pending arraignment Saturday afternoon in City Court.
Dale D. Williams Jr., 21, of 1131 Boyd St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the 100 block of Arlington Street with aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to keep right. His blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater. He is summoned to appear March 6 in City Court.
