Watertown Police Department:
Justin M. Kirby, 33, of 139 N. Meadow St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:19 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at 228 N. Orchard St. with second-degree assault, a felony, two counts of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Mr. Kirby is accused of restraining a 31-year-old woman to prevent her from exiting a vehicle while he was hitting her, grabbing her by the arm, pulling her back into the vehicle and then drove away to stop her from getting away during a domestic incident at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Newell Street, according to court documents. He allegedly hit her with a hammer numerous times during the incident, police said. He later pulled her from the vehicle by her hair and dragged her up a flight of stairs at about 11:00 a.m. Thursday at 228 N. Orchard St., Apt. 1, according to court documents. Police allege he hit the woman with a belt approximately 10 to 15 times causing substantial bruising at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at 228 N. Orchard St. Mr. Kirby is also accused of punching her in the face and body several times causing significant bruising at about 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, in the 100 block of Factory Street, police said. He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court. Bail was set at $2,500 cash, according to the Jefferson County jail.
Daniel D. Renvill, 28, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:38 a.m. Friday, March 4, at 1030 Arsenal St. with trespass. He is accused of unlawfully entering and remaining on the premises of Adirondack Efficiencies at about 1:23 a.m. Friday despite being told previously he was not allowed on the property, police said. He is summoned to appear March 24 in City Court.
Kyle B. Dickerson, 40, of 162 Woodruff St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:11 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at his residence with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Mr. Dickerson is accused of pushing a 16-year-old boy by the throat onto a couch causing pain the victim’s neck at about 6:11 p.m. Thursday at 162 Woodruff St., lower apt., according to court documents. He was held for arraignment Thursday night in CAP Court at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
