Police say Watertown man choked, slapped woman during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NY —  Anthony Lugo, 28, of 1214 Superior St., Apt. A-6, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:06 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at 1214 Superior St. with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Lugo is accused of slapping Kristina Lugo in her face several times and applied pressure to her throat with his hand while he pinned her against a wall during a domestic incident at about 10:39 a.m. Saturday at their apartment, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment in court, police said.
