WATERTOWN, NY — Deegan M. Shaffer, 19, of 26229 Limestone Road, Redwood, was charged by Watertown police at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
Mr. Shaffer is accused of striking a 17-year-old Watertown boy in his face causing a chipped tooth at about 5:25 a.m. June 21 a Tim Horton’s, 501 Mill St., police said.
Shaffer is summoned to appear Nov. 18 in City Court.
