Redwood man facing child endangerment charge

WATERTOWN, NY —  David M. Stewart, 47, of 44012 County Route 2, Redwood, was charged by Watertown police at 9:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at 144 Eastern Blvd. with endangering the welfare of a child.

Mr. Stewart is accused of engaging in an argument with a third party while holding a 3-month-old boy in a shoulder harness baby at about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the VA Clinic, according to court documents. He was allegedly yelling profanities and flailing his arms during the incident, police said.

He was held for arraignment Tuesday morning in City Court.
