CALCIUM, NY — Ruth M. Sullivan, 84, Calcium, passed away Monday evening, Sept. 10, 2018, at her home.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown. A prayer service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the funeral home with Rev. Jonas Tandayu, MSC presiding. Her burial will take place 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Glenwood Cemetery.
Ruth was born Oct. 27, 1933, in Buffalo, a daughter of Gilman and Marion Coates Wheeler.
She married Ferris Thomas “Bud” Sullivan in 1952 in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Sullivan passed May 4, 1988.
She worked as a cashier at A & P Grocery, Woolworth’s, and recently for Walmart.
Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Michael T. Sullivan and wife, Anne, Watertown, Colleen Exell and husband, Larry, TX, and Patrick E. Sullivan, AZ; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ziegler and Barbara Terpin, both of Buffalo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Two brothers died before her.
