ADAMS CENTER, NY — Sandra J. Reese, 79, Adams Center, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 2, 2020, at her home.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Adams Center at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are with Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.
Born July 30, 1940 in Watertown, New York, to Ruth McGraw and Ray Stinson, she graduated from Adams Center High School in Adams Center, NY.
Sandi had previously worked at Faichneys in Adams, NY, and in later years worked at K-Mart in Watertown.
A marriage to Lawrence Boulton ended in divorce.
She married Wayne Smith in 1971. Mr. Smith died in 1990. She later married Vernon Reese in 1993. Mr. Reese died in 2000.
For many years she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Adams Center Fire Department.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Deanna Marra and her companion John Roberts, Kimberly (Allen) Youngman, a step-daughter, Tina (Gabe) Mata, a sister, Donna (Perry) McIntosh, two step-sisters, Diane Machon and Debbie Trombley, niece, Tami (Jack) Larson, a nephew, Tim (Tracy) McIntosh, five grandchildren; Shawn (Tasha) Youngman, Casey (Mark) Ferguson, Jeffery (Jill) Marra, Matthew Marra and fiancé Chelsea Monroe, Michael Marra and fiancé Olivia Fulmer, and seven great grandchildren; Aubreigh, Sawyer, Quinn, Jase, Melanie, Raegan, and Ryan, and her beloved cat, Baxter.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Wayne Smith and Vernon Reese, and a son-in-law, Jeffery Marra.
