SACKETS HARBOR, NY — Sandy R. Aubertine, 62, of Dodge Avenue, Sackets Harbor, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Born on March 3, 1956 in Watertown, NY, he was a son of Clifton and Eunice Gerber Aubertine. He graduated from Sackets Harbor High School in 1974.
Sandy married Cindy Spencer on July 12, 1975 at the United Presbyterian Church, Sackets Harbor, NY.
He was a firefighter for the City of Watertown Fire Department, Watertown, NY, retiring after 33 years of service.
Sandy enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoors man.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Cindy; his father, Clifton Aubertine, Zephyrhills, FL; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sandy A. and Myong Aubertine, Chesapeake, VA, Mark Aubertine, Sackets Harbor, NY; a grandson, Cameron Aubertine, 14; a granddaughter, Alexia Aubertine, 11; a brother and sister-in-law, Kip and Judy Aubertine, Houston, TX; a sister-in-law, Lori Spencer, Sackets Harbor, NY.
His mother, Eunice and a sister, Candace Kernehan died previously.
There will be no services. Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
