Sci-Tech Museum announces expanded summer hours including holidays

WATERTOWN, NY — The Sci-Tech Museum of Northern New York is pleased to announce that it will begin its summer schedule on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

Starting on July 3, Sci-Techs’ exhibits will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. This schedule will continue through Labor Day.

During the summer, Sci-Tech will be open both holidays: Independence Day on Thursday, July 4; and Labor Day on Monday, September 2.

Sci-Tech will also be holding a free outdoor Astronomy Night on Wellesley Island on Friday, July 12 starting at 9:30pm. Full details of this free event are available on Sci-Tech’s astronomy telephone line, 315-788-2738.

The Sci-Tech Museum, located at 154 Stone Street, just off the Public Square in
Watertown, is northern New York’s “hands-on” science museum. It features more than 40 participatory exhibits for all ages – children and adults.
