HENDERSON, NY — Scott A. Summers passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at his home. He was 55 years old.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 to 5 pm Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, at Adams American Legion.
Born June 16, 1966, in Watertown, the son to William and Patricia Patten Summers, he attended South Jefferson Central School and Belleville Henderson School.
Scott worked for Jack Allen Sanitation, Dave Smith Construction, and several years for Greenley Fuel Company, Dobbins Auto Parts and several area farms. At the time of his death, he was a supervisor for Birch Creek Farms.
He was a volunteer for the Adams Fire Department for several years.
Scott enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, working machines and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his mother Patricia Kellar, Adams; two daughters, Amanda Summers, Copenhagen, and Elizabeth (Travis Vierra) Summers, Tampa, FL; and their mother Roseanne Summers Adams; two grandchildren, Colton and Candace; a sister, Robin Summers, Adams Center; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
Scott was predeceased by his father.
