ADAMS, NY — Shirley A. Miller, 78, E. Church St., Adams passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
The memorial service will be held noon Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. A calling will be held prior to the service starting at 11am at the funeral home. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Sackets Harbor American Legion from 2 to 4 p.m. A spring burial will be held in the Perch River Cemetery.
Born May 22, 1941, in the town of Brownville, the daughter of Edward E. and Goldie Bevan Kalk, she attended school at the General Brown High School.
Shirley’s family lost the most loving, unselfish person you would ever know. She was always there for you if you needed anything.
Shirley leaves behind her loving family, two sons, Jack D. Miller, Montana; Ronald “Deano” (Tina) Miller, Sackets Harbor; her daughter Tina “Rachet” (Todd) Thompson, Adams; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a sister, Leslie (Leon) Walker and her brother Gary Kalk. Also surviving is her extended family, Robert (Andrea Bazinet) Soluri, Jr., Patrick Soluri, Toni M. (Michael R. Gillian) Soluri and Tammy A. (Patrick Tarver) Soluri.
Her parents, her companion for over 40 years, Robert E. Soluri, two sisters, Jeanie Crosbie and Frances Crosby, all predeceased her respectively.
