SLC Update: 1 new positive case

As of Monday, August 3:

  • 1 (one) new case of COVID-19 was reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department over the weekend, and no new cases were reported today. Bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to-date to 258 (two hundred and fifty eight)

  • 6 (six) cases are active – please go to: https://www.stlawco.org/ to check out the COVID-19 Cases by Town map layouts (we will also post the maps on our Facebook page @SLCPublicHealth)

  • 248 (two hundred and forty eight) cases have been released from isolation*

  • 4 (four) cases are hospitalized.

  • 28,667 people have been tested for COVID-19 as of August 2nd this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 8/3/20 before 2pm (https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/views/NYS-COVID19-Tracker/NYSDOHCOVID-19Tracker-Map?%3Aembed=yes&%3Atoolbar=no&%3Atabs=n).

  • Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only. Please call the hotline numbers below between 8a-4p if you have symptoms, you are an essential worker or feel you should be tested:
