St. Lawrence County: No new cases

CANTON, NY —  The St. Lawrence County Public Health Department released the following statement:

As of Monday, May 4:

• No new cases of COVID-19 were reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department today. The total number of confirmed positive cases to-date is 185 (one hundred eighty-five)

• 123 (one hundred twenty-three) cases have been released from isolation*

• 4 (four) cases are currently hospitalized.

• 2 (two) deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 5/4/20 before 2pm (https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/views/NYS-COVID19-Tracker/NYSDOHCOVID-19Tracker-Fatalities?%3Aembed=yes&%3Atoolbar=no&%3Atabs=n)

• 2,323 people have been tested for COVID-19 as of May 4^th;  this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 5/4/20 before 2pm (https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/views/NYS-COVID19-Tracker/NYSDOHCOVID-19Tracker-Map?%3Aembed=yes&%3Atoolbar=no&%3Atabs=n).

• Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only. Please call the hotline numbers below between 8a-4p if you have symptoms or feel you should be tested:
