State police arrest four subjects following home invasion in Gouverneur

GOUVERNEUR, NY —  Four males were recently arrested following an investigation into a home invasion-style burglary that occurred on Oct. 29, 2020, at around 2:30 a.m. at an apartment on Peabody Road in the village of Gouverneur.

The male suspects unlawfully entered the apartment and stole property from the residents inside. One of the residents was punched in the face and was treated at Gouverneur Hospital, troopers said.

The following four suspects were arrested:

21-year-old Bryon C. Carr, of Gouverneur, arrested on October 29, 2020

19-year-old Darren J. Bishop of Gouverneur, arrested on November 2, 2020

An 18-year-old male from Gouverneur, arrested on November 2, 2020

An 18-year-old male from Star Lake, arrested on November 4, 2020

All four suspects were charged with second-degree burglary, and second-degree robbery. They were all arraigned and released under the supervision of probation.

All four suspects are to return Nov. 12 in Gouverneur Town Court.
