WATERTOWN, NY — Storm D. Wood, 29, Watertown, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Samaritan Medical Center.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown, and NY Yankee attire would be appreciated. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at St. Anthony’s Church with Fr. Christopher Looby, pastor, presiding. Burial will be at his family’s convenience in Glenwood Cemetery.
Born April 17, 1990, in Watertown, a son of Douglas W. and Mary Jo Coniglio Wood, he was a 2008 graduate of Watertown High School.
He was an avid sports fan, especially the NY Yankees, NY Knicks, and Syracuse University basketball.
Storm enjoyed social media, singing, and game shows, especially Jeopardy.
He was a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network, Make A Wish Foundation, and the DPAO.
Storm was the beneficiary of a home makeover, spearheaded by Johnny Spezzano and the Border 106.7.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Wood, Watertown; a brother, Sterling E. Wood, NYC, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His father, Doug, passed on Aug. 30, 2013.
