Earlier… COLLINS LANDING —  As of 3:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, traffic restrictions were placed on vehicles crossing the Thousands Islands Bridge. Commercial vehicles less than 60,000 pounds in gross weight will be restricted from crossing the Thousand Islands Bridge system. In addition, recreational vehicles (RVs), buses and enclosed empty trailers will also be prohibited from crossing until wind speeds reduce. Please observe this safety precaution and temporary traffic restrictions. Notification will be given as normal operations resumes.
