WATERTOWN, NY — Read your way to a fantastic prize this summer with Flower Library! Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Flower Library’s Summer Reading Program. Track your reading, attend in-person library events (or take the fun home with you), and win prizes!
Your job is to read, read, read. As you read, claim the hours to earn tickets and enter the tickets into a prize drawing of your choice. You can claim your reading by visiting the library and completing a paper postcard, or submitting information online via a Google Form that is linked on the library’s website. Registration is not required for this program. Instead you are required to submit a new postcard or Form each time you claim new hours spent reading. Bundled prize options include books, gift cards, and XL chocolate bars. **NEW** this year – all reading tickets will be automatically entered into a grand prize drawing and three winners will be chosen. Each winner will receive a Samsung tablet, courtesy of Stewart’s Shops! Reading hours may be claimed from June 1 to the close of business on August 25.
In addition to the opportunity to win prizes, all teens are welcome to join the library for three in-person events:
-
Thursday, 6/24 @ 2pm – Lawn Games: relax and play lawn games at the library in the sun! Snacks included.
-
Thursday, 7/29 @ 2pm – Graffiti String Art: use spray paint and string at the library to make a unique piece of canvas artwork. Snacks included.
