Thelma B. Ketchner, 95, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY —  Thelma B Ketchner, 95, Watertown, went home to Our Lord on May 17, 2019, at Samaritan Keep Home where she had been a resident for many years.

She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Mayport, PA, the daughter of Oren and Mary Milliron Brocious.

She married Norman E. Ketchner on Sept. 16, 1940. They resided in
Wellsville, NY where she was a homemaker. They relocated to Watertown
in 1994 to be closer to family.

Thelma was active in many churches throughout Wellsville and Watertown,
and always enjoyed sharing her love of the Lord.

She was predeceased by her husband Norm, Sister Phyllis Markle and three brothers Homer, Jerold, and Donald Brocious.

She is survived by daughter Jeanne Kratzat, Granddaughter Sara (Steven) Perkins and Sisters Marilyn Manin, Lois Veronese, and brother Richard Brocious and many nieces and nephews.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff on the second floor of the Samaritan
Keep Home.

A celebration of life service will be held this summer at the family’s convenience. Burial will be private in Wellsville, NY

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Samaritan Keep Home
Activity Fund, or Grace Weslyean Church Watertown, NY.
