Timothy K. McConnell, 51, Rodman

RODMAN, NY —  Timothy K. McConnell, 51 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at his home.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Calling hours will be held noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at the Rodman Fire Hall.

Tim was born March 31, 1971, in Watertown, NY, the son to Timothy C. and Marlea Sweet McConnell. He graduated from South Jefferson Central High School in 1990, following graduation he worked on a local farm, volunteered for Rodman Fire Department and South Jefferson Rescue Squad and he then further his education in the medical field and became a NYS Certified Paramedic and later he attended Jefferson Community College and earned a degree in counseling.

He worked at Samaritan Medical Center as a Chemical Addiction Counselor, Guilfoyle Ambulance, Thousand Island Emergency Rescue Service and NOCA as a Paramedic. Tim was his families go to person with medical questions, technology, and auto repair and was always happy to help in anyway.

Surviving are his children, Kody (Natalie) McConnell, PA; Kelsea McConnell, PA; 2 sisters, Lisa (Larry) Pittman, Watertown, Denean (Will) Clark, Watertown; his first grandson, Benson due in March, a nephew, Aaron Pittman, nieces, Courtney (Trenton) Fennell, Emily (Patrick) Howell, Anna and Ashley Clark, several great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents.

Tim loved technology, the great outdoors, but most of all the love he had for his family and friends was undeniable. His sense of humor and his quick-witt about him will be missed by all that knew him.
