WATERTOWN, NY — The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crew will be performing tree work in the 500 and 600 blocks of Washington Street beginning Friday, April 22, at 7:30 a.m. and are expected to have work completed by the end of the day.
Two-way traffic will be kept open by utilizing the center turning lane. Delays should be anticipated if traveling in this area.
Public Works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control by installing temporary barricades, signage, and having on-site flagmen throughout the duration of the project. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. If in this area, exercise extreme caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
The Department of Public Works would like to thank you for your patience and
cooperation while this work is completed.
