WATERTOWN, NY —Â Starting Wednesday, September 16 @ 7:30 a.m. the intersection of Academy St. and Pleasant St. S will be closed to traffic, along with the 300 block of Pleasant St. S between the intersection of Academy St. & Harrison St.
The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crew will be completing the sanitary sewer main work located in the 300 block of Pleasant St. S. This work should be completed by the end of week.
Public Works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control by installing temporary barricades, signage, and having on-site flagmen throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during construction. If in this area, motorists should exercise extreme caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
