Two missing teens found safe a camp in the town of Wilna

NATURAL BRIDGE, NY —  On Tuesday September 29, 2020, two Jefferson County teenagers, Bree L. Shultz, 14, of Cape Vincent, and Jacob T. House, 17, of Natural Bridge were reported missing from Lewisburg Road in the Town of Wilna.

They were last seen leaving the area on an ATV and their disappearance was considered intentional. Concerns for their safety prompted a coordinated search effort throughout the Town of Wilna and surrounding areas utilizing law enforcement ATVs and drones with a command post set up at the Natural Bridge Fire Department.

Shortly before 10am Wednesday, Sept. 30, members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and the Jefferson County Probation Department located both teens at a camp in the Town of Wilna. Natural Bridge and Carthage ambulances evaluated both teens and they were found to be in good health.

No further information regarding this incident can be released due to the ages of those involved.
