SACKETS HARBOR, NY — The Garrett Loomis Educational Series Committee recently met and would like to share the following information regarding the upcoming seminars.
Due to the Governors restrictions related to social distancing and gatherings greater than 50 people, the committee felt it was in our and your best interest to once again postpone the educational seminars for 2020 and 2021.
Originally, we were going to try and hold the Active Shooter seminar this fall (2020), but current restrictions will not allow for this to happen. A virtual seminar was also contemplated; however a live setting was strongly suggested by the presenter.
With that being said, the Active Shooter seminar for 2020 has been postponed, and will be the first seminar to be held once restrictions have been lifted making it safe for all.
Currently, its unknown if and when there will be any lessening to the restrictions in April 2021, so the committee also decided to postpone the 2021 April seminar with Dr. David Griffin and rescheduled him for the year after the Active Shooter seminar.
We have kept the contract with both individuals and hope to continue as planned beginning in the spring of 2022.Thank you for your continued support. Be Safe and Stay well through this new way of doing business.
