WATERTOWN, NY – On Saturday June 4, 2022, the Watertown Family YMCA will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of National Healthy Kids Day with 2022 Healthy Kids Day, Be Your Own Superhero at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Families, friends, agency and community members are asked to come dressed as their best superhero on this 30th Anniversary of Healthy Kids Day.
A field full of family fun activities is planned with agencies/departments/clubs from all over coming together to celebrate our youth and families playing together. The list includes Jefferson County Sheri Office, Community Action Planning Council, Head Start and Pre-K, Healthy Kids Running Series, Fidelis Care, Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library, WPBS-TV, NY State of Health, The Youth Alliance of Jefferson County, The Alliance For better Communities, YMCA-Sport Captain America, MVP Health Care, YMCA-Daycare, Carthage YMCA, YMCA Character Counts Preschool, YMCA-SACC, YMCA-Wellness, YMCA-Gymnastic/Ninja, YMCA-Dance, Tae Kwon Do Training Center, Monster Truck, YMCA- Aquatic, Brushstrokesbymelina, Stolen Moments, Unity Lacrosse Club, Zoo New York, Anchor Recovery Center, Troop496
At the Y, we understand the importance of family time and bonding. We believe that families and neighborhoods are the building blocks for positive change. Healthy Kids Day provides all the ingredients for developing healthy, resilient kids.

11:00-12:30: Activities, displays, and demonstrations on Fairgrounds Field 4
