Watertown man accused of assaulting two women, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Jordan T. Turner, 33, of 432 W. Mullin St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:57 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the 100 block of Clinton Street with two counts of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.

He is accused of striking Meagan Gayton, 23, in the eye region causing substantial pain, significant swelling and discoloration to the area at about 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the 100 block of S. Orchard Street, according to court documents.

Mr. Turner is additionally accused of striking Jessica Turner, 30, in her mouth causing swelling and the skin to break and bleed during the same incident, police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending a video arraignment.
