Watertown man accused of damaging door during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NY —  Duane L. Christensen, 51, of 668 Huntington St., Apt. 1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, at his residence with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Mr. Christensen is accused of damaging an interior door belonging to Charlene Christensen, 45, valued at $100 when he struck the door causing it to “rip off the hinges” during a domestic incident at about 9:46 p.m. Friday at their apartment, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Saturday morning at the Jefferson County Court complex.
