Watertown man accused of hitting woman in her face with pint glass during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Justin M. Duffield, 30, of 548 LeRay St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at his residence with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Mr. Duffield is accused of striking Kelly A. Hickey, 30, in the right side of her face and neck area with a pint glass causing the glass to shatter resulting in small cuts on her face, a swollen and bruised right eye and a small laceration to the lower right side of her neck during a domestic incident at about 11:41 p.m. Saturday at their home, according to court documents.

He was arraigned Sunday morning before Town of Watertown Justice Matthew J. Porter who released him to military custody. An order of protection for the victim was issued.
