Watertown man accused of lunging at another with a knife

WATERTOWN, NY —   Cleo E. Vaughns IV, 25, of 141 N. Hamilton St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, in Pamelia with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Vaughns is accused of displaying a knife and lunging at James Heise, 54, Watertown, at about 11:56 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 block of William Street, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.
