Watertown man accused of possessing items stolen from vehicle

WATERTOWN, NY — Bill H. Bailey, 47, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 30, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:14 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at 248 High St. with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

It is alleged he possessed a Ruger pellet gun, I-Gog sunglasses and two flashlights which had been stolen from a vehicle belonging to Adam Brown, 39, at about 10:58 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at 525 Olive St., police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
