Watertown man accused of punching wife in her face, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Brian K. Sullivan,  32, of 373 Flower Ave. E., upper apt., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at his residence with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is accused of punching Heather M. Sullivan, 26, in her face causing swelling and bruising over her left eye during a domestic incident at about 10:17 p.m. Tuesday at their home, according to court documents.

A 6-year-old girl left the residence unobserved and ran to a neighbor’s house to get help during the incident, police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Wednesday morning in court.
