Watertown man accused of sending threatening voice messages

WATERTOWN, NY —   Wayne J. Bell, 32, of 114 Franklin St., Apt. 206, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Watertown Daily Times, 260 Washington St., with second-degree aggravated harassment.

Mr. Bell is accused of sending four voice messages by electronic means to Christine A. Bell, 59, Watertown, in which he threatened to stab her brother, Edward J. Bell, with a 12-inch butcher knife at about 5:11 p.m. Sunday, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Sunday night in town of Watertown Court.
