Watertown man accused of shoplifting items from Big Lots store

WATERTOWN, NY —  Christopher M. Perciful, 38, of 25791 State Route 37, Royal Inn, Room 209, town of Pamelia, was charged by Watertown police at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with petit larceny.

Mr. Perciful is accused of stealing several electronic devices and a Shark vacuum cleaner when he concealed the items in a reusable shopping bag and ran out the back loading dock door without attempting to pay at about 8:20 p.m. May 14 at Big Lots, 1125 Arsenal St., according to court documents.

He is summoned to appear Aug. 26 in City Court. He was released to the custody of the New York State Police.
