Watertown man accused of shoving 15-year-old boy, violating order of protection

WATERTOWN, NYRaymond S. Beutel, 50, of 115 W. Iroquois Ave., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:31 p.m. Friday, July 5, at 115 W. Iroquois Ave. with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Beutel is accused of violating the terms of a City Court refrain-from order of protection when he used both of his hands to shove a 15-year-old boy in his chest causing him to stumble, fall backwards and hit his head on a bedroom door at about 6:16 p.m. Friday, according to court documents.

Mr. Beutel was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
