Watertown man accused of threatening another with knife, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Roger D. Brogdon, Jr., 31, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 12, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the 400 block of Arsenal Street with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Brogdon is accused of displaying a knife while telling Derrick J. Nier, 26, Watertown, that he would stab and kill him if he didn’t produce his money at 2 p.m. Oct. 14 during an incident at about 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson County Court complex, 163 Arsenal St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment in City Court.
