Watertown man accused of violating order of protection

WATERTOWN, NY —   Henry Arencibia, 35, of 700 Nellis St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 700 Nellis St. with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of violating the terms of a Family Court order of protection when he “poked” the protected party, Nichole L. Ives, 31, in her head and stomach at about 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at their residence, police said.

He was arraigned Wednesday before City Judge Eugene R. Renzi who released him on his own recognizance. Police said there is a warrant out of Florida for Mr. Arencibia however extradition was declined.
