Watertown man allegedly damaged woman’s car, police say

WATERTOWN, NY –  James R. Kaiser, 45, of 825 Lawrence St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at his residence with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.

Mr. Kaiser is accused of striking the front driver’s side window of a black 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan belonging to Kimberly J. Fleming, 48, Watertown, with a closed first causing the glass to shatter during a domestic incident at about 12:05 p.m. July 9 at 531 Washington St., according to court documents. Police listed the value of the damage at $356.39.

He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday afternoon in City Court.
