Watertown man allegedly punched, choked woman during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Anthony D. Jackson, 21, of 273 High St., lower apt., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:19 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at his residence with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Jackson is accused of putting his hands around the throat of a 20-year-old woman and squeezed causing her to be unable to breath for several seconds at about 8:00 p.m. Sunday at 500 Factory St., according to court documents. He is also accused of punching her in the face during the same incident, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Monday morning in City Court.
