Watertown man allegedly punched woman, struck her with bolt cutter

Mark A. Welser, 41, of 447 Flower Ave. E., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:41 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at 657 Bronson St., with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Welser is accused of punching a 34-year-old woman in her face and struck her on the thigh with a bolt cutter at about 6:28 p.m. Thursday at 657 Bronson St., according to court documents.

He is summoned to appear Nov. 5 in City Court.
