Watertown man allegedly slapped woman, threw glass jar during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NY —  Donald S. Delaney, 42, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 36, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:24 a.m. Friday, May 29, at 232 W. Main St. with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Delaney is accused of throwing a glass mason jar at Yanina Elliott, 27, causing it to break during a domestic incident at about 1:58 a.m. Friday, May 29, in the parking lot at 232 W. Main St., according to court documents.

He is also accused of slapping and punching her in the face during the incident, police said.

He was held for arraignment in court.
