NYSP: Watertown man arrested on child pornography charges

WATERTOWN, NY —  The New York State Police released the following statement on Aug. 1, 2019:

“State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Watertown along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) announce the arrest of Jesse Jaime Jr., 29, of 816 Coffeen St., Watertown, NY, for (2) counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D felony), and Possession of a Sexual performance by a child (E felony).

The arrest stems from an investigation involving Jesse Jaime Jr.’s social media accounts to upload and download images and videos of minors less than 12 years of age engaging in sexual acts, troopers said.

This investigation was conducted by members from the Troop D Computer Crime Unit, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, US Postal Inspectors, and the Jefferson County Probation Department.

The ICAC Task Force is made up of members of the New York State Police and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
